Apostle Walter Chambers, D.D.; is an anointed man of God who has dedicated his life to serve the Body of Christ Worldwide. He was called into the ministry in 1991 and began preaching in Heilbronn, West Germany at the Pentecostal Prayer Tower, C.O.G.I.C. Since that time, he served faithfully in many ecclesiastical capacities in the Body of Christ. In 1995 he was ordained as an Elder and was later appointed as Pastor where he served faithfully until the turn of the millennium.
In the year 2001, God gave Apostle Chambers the vision for Lion of Judah International Ministries. The first church was birthed in Americus, Georgia in early 2002 and later that year a second location was birthed in Albany, Georgia. During this time Apostle Chambers was led to connect with the Impact International Network of Churches under the leadership of the late Apostle Elgie Keels. One year later he was consecrated as Bishop. Under Apostle Chambers’ leadership and guidance the ministry grew tremendously and continued to make Apostolic Impact worldwide. As other Five-fold ministry leaders began to seek out his “fathering” anointing, God commissioned Apostle Chambers to begin providing oversight of several ministries in the Southwest Georgia region. As he trained and ordained ministry leaders across the continental United States and abroad, Apostle Chambers was fulfilling his Apostolic Call. In 2004, he was consecrated as Apostle by the Impact International Network of Churches.
After receiving his Apostolic ordination and consecration, the Lord expanded Apostle Chambers’ vision and called him to pioneer the International Covenant Fellowship, which is a fellowship of churches called together to make spiritual impact globally. International Covenant Fellowship provides an Apostolic covering as well as empowers leaders in the Body of Christ to fulfill the call and destiny that is upon their lives. He currently provides Apostolic covering for ministries in Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Minnesota, Texas, Nigeria, and Ghana. Apostle Chambers has successfully planted and established ministries in Albany, Georgia; Bainbridge, Georgia; Minneapolis, Minnesota; and Lagos, Nigeria. He has also ministered extensively in Europe and Africa in conferences and strategic training venues. Apostle Chambers also appears as a special guest and panel speaker on TBN Praise the Lord program. He continues to grow in Grace and Wisdom as he encounters people of all races, nationalities, and cultures.
Apostle Chambers walks heavily in the prophetic and evangelistic anointing, preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ worldwide. He has addressed city and state governments as an Apostolic voice concerning the times and the seasons. Apostle Chambers has received city and government commendations for his tireless contributions to the communities where he has established ministries. In addition, he has received recognition for his counsel during the United States 9/11 tragedy. Also, on September 4, 2009, Apostle received an honorary Doctorate of Divinity from Saint Thomas Christian College of Jacksonville, Florida.
Apostle Chambers is happily married to his lovely wife, Prophetess Michelle Chambers. He is the father of five children (Christopher, Zandria, Walter II, Alexander, Micaiah). Apostle Chambers is a man of integrity and one who is truly called to the Body of Christ for such a time as this.
